The Canon EOS R1 is coming, here are a few things to expect

Camera specs aside, would like to see a fingerprint sensor or some kinda security built into a pro camera for once like in cellphones, since this has been implemented theft has gone down. Insurance only does so much. Can’t be that hard ass it is already well established tech. Being robbed at...

Jeff Cable talks about what it’s like to shoot with the Canon EOS R3 as a pro

You make a good point here. Some people want SD and some people need Express. There a lots of different people with varying needs. Like express in great for video, and absolute speed when shooting RAW, SD works for RAW but better with JPEG only. So maybe he could of done RAW to express and Jpeg...

Would of been nice to have Focus AI improves like greater subject recognition or deep learning. Like on the R3. The camera is great but little tweaks like this will go a. Long way to make it phenomenal.

The Canon EOS R3 pricing to undercut the competition [CR3]

I totally agree with you here 4999 seems more poise to take the market by storm. by the time you add taxes and accessories and some pro glass they will more than compensate, believe it will really hurt the other brands. just a thought

The benefits of the large diameter of the EOS R’s RF mount explained

Curious how the new RF mount can benefit supertelephoto technology. would be nice to see some interesting new supertelephoto lenses like a 500mm 5.6, 200-600mm, 600mmf5.6 or f8 feel these will sell very well. Don’t believe it would canabalize the f4 sales either. Just like 16-35f 2.8 vs f4 or...

Here is the Canon EOS R3

Some working professionals want reliability and stick to what has been tried and true over the years, many will stick with the 1dxIII and would be hard press to get the latest new camera on the market, The rumoured R1 won't fill those shoes just yet.

Here are the RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM and RF 600mm f/4L IS USM

But the RF mount is also wider as well. That must count for something? Im not an engineer but there must be a reason canon went with the wider RF mount. The engineers must of thought that this would be a tremendous advantage to the canon ecosystem down the road.

Here are the RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM and RF 600mm f/4L IS USM

Agree with you at this price point think the customer expects more. Like the 600 mkii to mkiii. The reduced weight was welcomed not so much a change in shade of white. Lol. Many pro stayed with their version 2 for that reason. Even buying new right now you can pick these up at a lower cost and...

Here is the Canon EOS R3

I don't understand why buyer's of 1DXIII will feel buyer's remorse a new mirrorless camera. the 1DXIII by no means is a slouch. It id still a phenomenal camera no matter what is released. Competition is pretty stiff and extending market cycles of technology doesn't make sense. At least that's...

Here are the RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM and RF 600mm f/4L IS USM

Still, like many were hoping for the superteles to take advantage of the RF mount, maybe bit lighter, shorter and a control ring. But I guess that's asking for too much. And no cripple hammer. Too much?
