Water condensation inside Canon G11 housing...

I've just got home from an amazing experience in Krabi. The only thing I don't like is during our second day of snorkeling, the G11 with casing got very hot due to sunand when submerged in cool water, suddenly there's some water condensation near the lens. During our first day this didn't...

Help on what to bring to Krabi...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krabi I'm thinking of bringing just 2 or 3 lens along with my 6D. Initially, I've thought of just bringing the 24-105L + 50mm F1.8. I want to be as light as possible. Last time I went to Langkawi, I brought the 17-40, 28mm and 50mm but found a little bit wanting...

    Canon + phone manufacturer collaboration

Anybody knows if Canon + phone manufacturer collaboration? I'd be happy to have a smartphone with 1/1.7 camera sensor, full manual exposure, 3X to 5X zoom and shoots RAW. That'd be awesome. I just hope they'll be able to maintain the size of an IPhone (though I don't mind the size of a...

    DigiEye CPL filters

Anybody got experience with this brand? I've used one and found it seems it loses more light than Hoya HD. Aside from that, I didn't notice any color cast so far.

Samsung Galaxy Camera: Smartphone + real Camera

I was just amazed at the current innovation. This is a real camera/phone that photographers should be happy about. It may not be complete yet (not yet fully a smartphone, can't make voice calls) but it's sure a good start. I just hope they increase the camera sensor size to at least 1/1.7...

    1DS3 or 5D3 or 5D2 or 6D?

One friend of mine is offering his 1DS3 at around $2K. Shutter count at around 35K. Should I take the bait or get something else or wait for the vaunted 6D? I admit, it is very, very tempting... I haven't used any FF so I need your help experts. Intended use will be mainly for landscapes...

    5D2 + 17-40mm or 500D + 10-22mm?

Just recently, I'm thinking of buying a 17-40mm L lens. I intend to upgrade to either 5D2 or 6D after sometime. My question is, is it really better than just having an APS-C + 10-22mm lens? This will be used for landscape photography. I'm also into macro photography but perfectly happy with...

    Macro Point and Shoots

Admittedly, DSLRs with dedicated macro lenses are the best way to do Macro. However, they're not the only way to get beautiful Macro pictures. I've got G11 and it's Macro can get me as near as I can. Do not let your camera limit your creativity.

I don't have much experience on doing landscape on macro terms but here are some that I think will classify. If not, just tell me.
