I am noticing a difference between the raw images from those two cameras using the same lens. The 1D IV images seem to have more pop and depth, for lack of a better description. Anyone else notice this, or am I seeing things?

I am wondering how well an "oversized" Close Up Lens works with step-up rings. As an example, the 100mm L macro and 180mm macro both take different size filters. Step-up rings are relatively inexpensive compared to multiple copies of the Close Up lens 500D. If I purchased one to fit the 180mm...

I have noticed that images I take of red or close to red or violet things like flowers never seem to work out properly. The red channel on the histogram is always much further to the right than green, blue or the regular histogram. What are some ways to handle this problem? Thanks
