So, Adobe, about that subscription only model? I think most of us would like you to re-think it and keep perpetual licenses as an option or have some kind of buy-out program for a perpetual license.

Yes, but do they care what 'most of us' think? Adobe's change is a great example of why we should care about the 'business' and 'marketing' aspects of the corporations who's products we use...the switch to a cloud-based subscription model was a business decision to drive revenue and profit.
