Yes, IS elements group is parked by turning off the camera before removing the lens (failed to do this one time and the IS group rattled like crazy)
Once parked, the lens group STILL rattles but not loudly or not much at all. I am guessing this is normal but this lens is so new I just want to make sure.
The images that come from it are sharp. So no decentering etc which is comforting.
