Well there have been many posts about the 11-24 and possible solutions for front mounted filters, hopefully this thread will pull the available solutions together. So far I have seen one set available, from a Vietnamese company, with massive 160mm (?) filters.

Fotodiox had said they were working on a solution and their Wonderpana system is based on a 145mm filter. I have the Wonderpana kit for the 17TS-E so did a little testing with the 11-24 to see if the 145mm filters would cover the 11mm fov, after all it does allow full shift stitching of 17TS-E images that actually give a wider horizontal fov than the 11-24 at 11mm.

Here are the results of resting the 145mm CPL on the built in hood of the 11-24 @ 11mm and 14mm. Looks like any company working with 145/150mm filters is going to have a restricted zoom range.

Didn't want to start yet another filter holder thread- this one is fine. Fotodiox unit for this lens works 100% at 11mm- No problems. It is, however, a little tough to initially assemble on the lens in terms of getting a snug fit between the locking ring and the filter housing.
Please let us know how it works out once you get a chance to use it a bit. There are several 11-24 owners here who are eager to hear more about the WonderPana XL.

I am also interested in the Fotodiox solution. So far it looks like the most professional and well built solution. I have it in my Amazon wish list for my Samyang/Rokinon 14mm Lens. But want to find more information about the filters optical quality before taking the plunge..
