That Rebel T7 seems to be EOS 2000D. The 4000D apparently was not released in the U.S.

As expected. Probably won't be in Europe or Japan either.

The 2000D and 4000D are on Canon UK's web site, and the German one, so presumably all Europe. Since Europe is obviously now a market of failing economies and poor people, cheap products need to fill shelf space... ::)

Yeah, mea culpa. On the other hand, there are several markets even within the Eurozone where a 4000D still costs more than a workman’s monthly salary. Europe is heterogenous in that way.

who cares about that mirrorflicker. Really only targeted at those total n00bs convinced that "only a DSLR captures really good, *pro-quality* images" ... ;D

You are posting the same in all threads. You have exactly no argument for your opinion, it's just hate. Why? your mirrorless camera exists for a while now, a similary speced one was announced at the same time. You buy the mirrorless (or not, who cares), other people the SLR, each what he likes and Canon delivers both.

And yes, you are right, a G7xii delivers about the same, if you have only the kit lens.

I believe that since the first time AvTvM looked in a mirror he has hated them ever since ;)

But to give him his due, since Canon introduced the 5DS/r with its motorised mirror he has at least changed his favoured insult from "mirrorslapper" to "mirrorflicker" as no one could ever accuse the 5DS of having mirror slap. :)
