Love this lens in spite of its weight at over 3 kilos

Re: Canon 200mm f/1.8 USM

I keep telling myself I need this lens ;D, or it's f2.0 IS older younger, but more mature brother . I really like the lens and the look it provides, and I love big expensive lenses, but I already own the 70-200 f2.8 II. And I don't actually use it that much. I find myself shooting wide angle far more often.

If it weren't for the fact that they don't repair them anymore (ie, it breaks and you're stuffed), that would be a bargain...

This bad boy IS a beast. ... We call it The Hubble. (I actually use it without a tripod, but it's tiring)
The Bokeh is amazing. Sadly it's not mine, but I do rent it often for weddings.

I never post, but thought I had to share some random shots to show off the lens. Very little pp:

Sutro Tower in San Francisco (shot from Buena Vista Park): f1.8, 1/8000, 100 ISO with a 5Dc
Tree Trunk in Buena Vista Park: f1.8, 1/200, 100 ISO with a 5Dc
Bridesmaids: f1.8, 1/5000, 320 ISO with a 5DmkII
Bride: f1.8, 1/200, 200 ISO with a 5DmkII
