I know this is a bit noisy, but it was at ISO8000 in dreadful contrasty light. I just love the smile, and I would have been hard pressed to get this with any other lens:

And this one was with a 2x mkiii extender attached:

This one is with the 1.4x TC.
Very nice image Infrared! I had to look twice to figure out what it was .)

Thanks Eldar...I love to find beauty in dark, depressed areas like the coal mining areas of PA. It was a spectacular scene on a Sunday morning and totally unexpected...I was on my way somewhere else to shoot..and I almost wrecked the car when I saw this!!!!!!! LOL!

I've noticed photos taken with my 70 - 200L ii to be a bit soft. Has anyone else had these problems? Not sure if it needs a micro focus adjustment or if it's an issue with my copy.

I bought it used from someone on Craigslist but I don't know the protocol for sending it back to canon if it needs repair.

I have some issuses with that lens: http://www.canonrumors.com/forum/index.php?topic=21203.0

Just got my hands on this treasure of an item a month ago. Here's some of my favorite shots so far with it :)

Portrait #1: 1/200 sec at f/2.8, ISO 200

Portrait #2: 1/160 sec at f/2.8, ISO 400

Sunset: 1/250 sec at f/8, ISO 100

Headshot: 1/125 sec at f/2.8, ISO 100

(No flash or other lighting used for these ones)
