I have not been able to find any information on a possible SX230 HS successor, though February does tend to be the announcement month for this line of cameras. Note that I am talking about the SX230, not SX23 or SX24.
With the new Digic 5 processor out in a few DSLRs, we should expect to see a "SX240 HS" or similarly named model for the SX230 HS successor. The Digic 5 will be particularly useful for compacts this generation I feel.
Anyone else hear word on the next cameras Digic 5 will be implemented in?
