Creating custom camera profile

Hi,

I'm looking for color accuracy and have been reading up on how to create a custom camera profile for LR. However, there is loads of information on the web and because of severe time constraints I am reluctant to trawl through all of it website by website.

Can anyone please advise on the best resources that I can access for this purpose?

For what it is worth, I do have a Colorchecker Passport.

Try Keith Coopers Northlight Images. Keith posts on CR and has extensive experience. Since you have a passport color checker, presumably your monitor is calibrated too.

I used DNG Profiler Editor to create a camera profile for my Sony A7r II. It is fast and easy. Here is the link to the Windows version: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5494

Use the Adobe DNG Profile editor like mentioned above. It will save the profile in Lr and ready to use. I also keep the raw-shot of each ColorChecker in different light to tune wb later. I quite like the Dual profiles.

Make sure you do not ever shoot the CC at higher than 400 iso. And that you sample correct wb in the Editor to make the best result. Great info at X-rite on the subject.
