Crossroads. Get metabobes and stick with EF, or throw my lot in with MFT?

Just got a panny g7 for video.
Have the money to drop on a metabones xl adaptor.

Just thinking, do I want to use the big ef lenses on the diminutive g7? Mainly for video so will be shooting mf for that, but on the odd occassion I shoot stills, would I not rather fast af and is, and compact form?

So my options as I see it:

Get the metabones. Treat the g7 as a stopgap for 4k until Canon make a modestly priced EOS 4k body.

Sell up my EF gear and put it into compact, fast mft primes with IS & decent AF (for stills)

"Sell gear" took you 1.03 seconds to say. Now try doing it.
I suggest you wear a beard and go "ho-ho-ho" because you have to give away your material, nobody will be giving you any money. At least that's my experience. Maybe the market is different where you live.
Put some ads and see how many calls you get. Then decide.

Good luck and the Force be with you.
