Does anyone know how people are getting new 1dx ii bodies at wholesale price? I've been looking around for another used body on Facebook in closed groups for canon buying/reselling. Three people have told me (and shown invoices) they have 1dx ii's that are un-opened for anywhere between 5000 and 4750 USD. I don't think they are scams because I've chatted with others who've purchased from them. But the sellers claim that they are buying bodies from a US distributor in bulk and still able to profit while undercutting retail by $500 or more.

One person sent me a b&h receipt showing they ordered 4 bodies and claimed to not be paying full price. I just don't understand how they could not be grey market items... But coming from B&H? I'm absolutely confused. Could this be Canon dumping inventory to make way for a new release?

Would love to hear any info on how I can get into this game haha...
