They should probably make the deal permanent. Now that the Tamron G2 is out, I cannot imagine the Sigma Contemporary selling very well. I am just speculating, I have no actual sales figures, but from the reports I have seen the new Tamron is much, much better. It seems anyone who does any research would pick the Tamron, but maybe if the Sigma price is this much lower it could sway cash-strapped buyers?
