I've posted several on lens-specific threads, but in keeping with the the topic request, here's one that to me feels very 'European', taken in Colmar, France (the gateway to the Alcase region).
Very nice - and I reckon it does indeed have a very European feel!

Click, serendipidy and jd7, many thanks. I took that image quite a few years ago and have since tried to get the same effect of looking from within the ruin to the countryside beyond, but have never managed to make it work as this one did.
