RF lens hoods, where's the felt?

I finally pulled the trigger on the RF 50mm 1.2. Liking the lens, but it's too bad Canon decided to ditch the black felt that used to line their factory lens hoods. Always made them feel just a little classier than the alternatives.

Oh well, I'm sure the actual difference a felt lined surface made to the ridged black plastic that everyone else (and now Canon) seems to be using is just about zero. And that felt always attracted debris.

My felt hood always picks up lint in the dryer. Sounds like a smart improvement.

There are about 30 sheep fleeces in the living room, in plastic bags under the canoes.....

I wonder how many lens hoods I can ruin?
