I saw from some CR posts about the canon S100 that both the silver and black are $429 in B&H. That's still way cheaper than the price in Japan (by about $100) but I have noticed here that you can pick up the silver model for about 40'000 yen ($521) versus the black model at 43'800 yen ($571). Wonder if the same thing occurs in other countries or only here?
Jeez, thinking about this I am surprised by the price difference. The S100 was only released here December 8th, some places are still selling at the RRP of 53'000 yen ($690) but a lot of places are dropping the price...let's hope they keep dropping.
