Kinda serious question, but for the exact same US$6000, who'd rather the 24MP 24x36mm 30fps R3 or 100MP 33x44mm 5fps Fuji GFX100S?
Anyone who needs (and/or already has) many RF lenses like 15-35, 24-70,70-200,100-500, 50 1.2 85 1.2 etc.

They could very well chose the R5 too and use the same lenses. Much more versatile. Now if you are into advertisement or Studio photography you may chose the Fuji.

Both very capable cameras for different scenarios. GFX100S can potentially achieve still image quality beyond what full-frame can currently offer [Ref: DPReview]. But GFX100S is not as good as R3 in terms of AF speed and accuracy. Also if video is a must have requirement, GFX100S is less attractive because of line skipping and no tracking AF in video.

Just a question. Does anyone know whether or not the Flashpoint/Godox flash systems are compatible with the new hot shoe on these (R3, R5)? Flashpoint works fine on my R, but that's the old style hot shoe.
They will work. However the Canon AD-E1 Adapter isa designed to adapt the new design to the old one completely iso any legacy hotshot mount gear. fits 100% and if it has weather sealing retains that functionality.

I don’t have any 3rd party flashes but my ‘legacy’ Canon flashes (not sure legacy applies since the only new flash-related accessory is the ST-E10 trigger) work fine without the adapter. The adapter serves only to provide a weathersealed connection.
