Purchased a 64 GB Extreme CF card. These things are just ridiculously expensive even on sale. Finally have decent 64 GB cards in both slots on my 5D III. My life is now complete. I can die a happy man with tons of flash cards.

Typical, I just bought 32GB Extreme Pro's last week (one CF and one SDHC). I held off buying a second set and am glad I did, knowing the only thing that falls in price as fast as media are camera bodies :'(

Up until a week or so ago, the SanDisk "Extreme" (60 MB/s) 16 GB CF card at B&H was $59.95 (there was 1 day sale for about $5 off that price), then it went up to $84.95, and now this "sale" for $52.95. ??? Same thing for the "Extreme Pro" version; not sure about the other sizes, though.

Adorama's prices seem to be the "regular" ones, not "sales."

When I shopped B+H and Adorama for the 32GB SDHC and CF Extreme Pro cards, they were identical.

And now that the "sale" is over, the "regular" price has gone back to $59.95, not the inflated price of $84.95.

Very often, what is advertised is a sale based on the MSRP, not the normal selling price. Canon requires sellers to do this, perhaps Sandisk is doing the same.

You really need to know the pricing in order to make a good decision.
