Here are some sample photos from the second version of Canon's excellent 16-35mm lens. This is my most used lens, as I like the versatility of having decent wide angle and close to 50mm focal length with a crop factor of 1.3. The first two photos have been taken with an EOS 40D and the rest with an EOS 1D MK II.

Really nice set of pics, I enjoyed seeing the pics from my local stomping ground Asakusa and Ueno park at the wide angle as well.

Beautiful pics, really like the second one, a real feel of Asia about it...hope I've not put my foot in it and it's actually a temple elsewhere :-\

Few 16-35 II sample images with 40D

Great live music and travel shots. Really like the composition on the last two, really cool travel images I could imagine seeing in a guidebook.

Just got this lens about a week ago. Presently using it with a EOS 7D. Hoping at some point to acquire the 5D MKiii if and when it arrives and exploit this lens further

Taken at F8, 1/60th, ISO 100, 33mm, HDR processed with -2,0,+2 bracketing, Aperture Priority
