Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM

I use this lens almost exclusively when doing action portraits. In this case, the client wanted a photo for her desk where it was clear that it was her yet showed her playing. Bright bright sunny day, so 7D, F2.8, ISO 100, about 1/1000. Saturation boost in the oranges in post to make her look less pale and a bit of post vignetting. That's about all it needed.

I'm amazed at how sharp this lens is wide open.

This is a random photo I took handheld at a party.

I'm attaching a 100% crop to demonstrate the detail right down to the pixel level.
If you look closely, you can see a reflection of the room in his eye revealing how I used the flash.

Wife brought some pink tulips for her friends lunch party... I had some fun with the 70-200mk.ii: The lens is very sharp... but on these shots I wanted to get a bit dreamy. :)
