Lots coming

A lot of new PowerShots are coming next week according to one source. Below are the confirmed models.

A2300

A2400

A3400

A4000

A810

D20

Elph 320

SX240

I did receive other models in the list that already existed, so I removed them. The camera of note in the list is the PowerShot D20. I’d assume that’s a followup for the waterproof oddity that was the D10.

The D10 wasn't an oddity! It was awesomeness in an awesome blue oddly-shaped box! And waterproof to pretty deep! I have awesome pictures from a coral reef in the keys I used it to get pictures of. The only problem with it was the maddening shutter lag (compared to a 7D...)... I am spoiled. I need to shut up and pony over for the ikelite housing...

Underwater/low temperature/fall resistant category is the only one I use besides my D5 Mk II. And I was waiting for the next version, since the D10 is really old. I'm tempted to go with the new Panasonic. But I'll wait for them.
If you have to have one camera for vacations, and or following kids through the beach, or when going to ski, this is the sort of camera to have. Very important in my opinion.
