It is smaller and lighter due to not having to use the EF-RF adapter. It has the control wheel. I feel it is slightly, but not significantly, sharper.Hi astate
Out of curiosity, what do you like better about the RF version over the EF version?
I do have the 35. There is a bit more to it. It has the IS but also has 11 elements in 9 groups vs the 6 elements in 5 groups of the 50. The 35 also has the macro capability. These things are what, I assume, make it cost more. I also have the 85 f2.do you have the RF 35mm f/1.8 too? probably similar IQ? the 35mm is worth more cause of the IS im guessing
