Thomas Fletcher and Gary Adcock have put together their latest version of the their cinema camera and lens charts. These are a great reference for any cinematographer, especially if you’re trying to figure out <a href="http://www.lensrentals.com">what to rent</a> or purchase for any given job.</p>

Canon offerings stack up pretty well on value/$

I'm glad they're trying to be helpful but beware: on the Camera Comparison sheet the RED Epic-W specs are wrong. This makes me a little wary of trusting these as a current resource. Hopefully, they can correct.

If you have the budget to rent these lenses/bodies, do yourself a favor and speak with the rental house about your project and needs. Their recommendations will likely help you a lot more than a list like this. Once you've used some of these lenses and bodies several times, you'll (semi) quickly know which you prefer to use over others for the type of work you're doing.
