Are these on the approved list for the R5?
Yes, the Lexar is supported.

There is a list of cards that had been tested when the Camera came out. Some manufacturers like Delkin have tested their own cards after they received a camera.

I have the card reader and I am really happy with it for the price.

Thanks for sharing.
I should add people complain it gets hot, which is true and not at all unexpected. If you are a Windows user when you eject the device just unplug the unit and leave the USB C connected.

Oh and one complaint, the USB C cable is comically too short. So I used the USB C to USB C cable that came with the R5.

I know someone here has had a lot of bad experiences with Lexar's SD cards.

Any feel for the quality of this CFExpress card, yet?

Got this one in the mail yesterday and picked on up. I needed the reader and the cards get decent reviews so what the heck/ Now I have 2.
