I have no experience with the suggested EF to E-mount adapter, but I see that while the reviews at B&H are generally positive, some people are having various difficulties with it.

It is noteworthy that B&H also lists a newly-arrived, but similar adapter from Metabones that indicates compatibility with EF, EF-S, and third-party lenses of those types:

I am guessing that Metabones is aware of the issues people were having, and that it's attempting to address them with this second model.
