For a brief time a used R5 sold for more than a new one, people were so desperate to get their hands on one. So by that measure, these are damned good prices.

May be for a brief time as you said but now the situation must be regulated more or less. Of course anyone can ask anything. Whether they will get it is a totally different matter...

The point being, there's so much demand for R5s and R6s right now I'd not expect anyone to lower the prices on them new, and lightly used isn't going to save one much either.
