My R7 is arriving tomorrow and so I looked to download DPP4 for it. But, there is no link for the software for it on either the US or UK Canon sites. Does DPP4 version 4.16.10 work with it?

Thanks @neuroanatomist! As an aside, my 2019 MacBook Pro will never install DPP4 or Canon Utilities - the installer just stalls at the file exstraction stage. It's a known problem that has never been fixed. I keep an old laptop on which I install new versions and then copy over to the newer one.

The UK Canon site is too difficult for me to navigate. Not only was there no link for DPP4 on the EOS R7 page but also no link to the manual - the link for manuals for the R7 just gives URLs for third party products.

Good luck with your new R7 Alan. I hope it works for you. After watching many YT reviews from those who have rec'd their R7's and since I haven't received mine, pre-ordered from B&H first day available, I just cancelled my order for that and the following reasons. I have two special photo projects next week, I had hoped to try the R7 out on but now, after talking with B&H, they don't know when my order would be filled. Additionally, almost all of the available on line raw files I downloaded, including those from Duade Paton's YT site and others, just look too noisy and less sharp than I had hoped for. I guess I was hoping for something more 7Dii capable but in a mirrorless body. Now, think I'll just wait for that hi res body. Look fwd to hearing about your experience with the R7.

Also, am curious to how much rolling shutter the R7 has in E.S relative to the R5 and R6.
