EOS R8 Images

Recently upgraded from the 2012 6D to the new R8 mirrorless. Using my Zeiss Contax/Classic lenses and the awesome EF to RF adapter with CPL. First time I've touch a camera since 2019. Felt great getting back out there.

I was surprised at how small the body is. The Vello battery grip works well. Interesting work around with the little shutter release cable. I recommend having at least 4 to 6 batteries with you. I was at the event for about 3 hours and got 2 batteries below 10%. Still getting used to it, but I'm a huge fan of the focusing peaking and zooming in through the EVF. I can't believe the R8 is this good for $1,500. I'm very glad that I got the CPL adapter, although I also purchased the regular one later on.
