EOS R6 Firmware 1.1.1
Firmware (Version 1.1.1) incorporates the following improvements and fixes:
- It is now possible to set [Overheat control: On] when choosing to display an image via the HDMI output while also displaying an image on the camera screen.
- Temperature detection and shooting time limits when video shooting has been improved. In addition, the total shooting time when the short-time recording and power-on/off are performed repeatedly at room temperature has also been improved.
- When the RF100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM is attached, image stabilization of 6.0 steps is now possible when used in conjunction with the optical image stabilization mechanism of a compatible lens.
- When the RF100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM is attached, the IS performance during continuous shooting may deteriorate with firmware Version 1.1.0. This phenomenon has been corrected.
- Improved the image stabilization when shooting movies using some RF lenses.
- When the display language “English” is set: The information display on the “Slow Synchro” setting screen has been corrected.
- Improved the connectivity during FTP transfer.
- Corrected the phenomenon that the movie recording time is not displayed correctly if “Date/Time/Area” is not set.
