No place really seemed to fit this, so I put it here in the Portraits section. That's what they basically are...
Gear used. Canon 7D and the magical 70-200 f/2.8L MkII.
The shots are pretty much straight off the camera. It was quite a challenging lighting situation. Bright sunlight with very harsh shadows.

I like the top photo and the one immediately below it the most. The top one is my favorite because the BG is not distracting like it is on the 2nd one. Good job!

Thanks! Quite a challenging situation light-wise, but also because of 17.000 other spectators crowding around so it was hard to get a decent location to shoot from.
