Lightroom settings for planes

Good morning!
After some thousand shots at an F1 race and an Airshow, I´m struggling how to get the best out of my shots. The F1 race shots are not so the problem, as it was sunny and all colours are brilliant.
But at the Airshow, many of the shots are against grey clouds and the planes do appear as grey as the clouds.

Do you know, if there is are presets or instrucions how to setup Lightroom to make Planes in flight shots better?
I´v seen some Airshow Spotter shots in the same situation that appear to be great

You could try to use the new masks to select the sky to process that separately from the plane. I’ve tried it last week with a dragonfly and I succeeded in making the sky light blue instead of grey. It did show that I know next to nothing about working with hue sliders in LR

You can completely fake it by replacing the sky in PS to a blue one!

It would really help to see one or more of the photos. That said, increasing contrast in post processing is probably going to be part of the resolution.
