Surapon,
A great lesson!
The guide could be used in a lot of other occasions where the background is dark and the subject is lit.
Thanks for sharing your notes. This time you're the teacher!

Dear Surapon,
You're most humble. I saw your photos and they are high quality.
Looks like you'll have a great session of photography, wish I could join you, but I'm maybe 4 hours from you in VA.
Maybe you can share some result of your lessons soon.
(PS., I'm coming to Graham for a one day technical training.)

Surapon You rock! :D

Very good work, esp for your first time. I'll keep your info handy for when I need to do this myself. What a great starting point to have available thanks to your sharing. Have a great day!

Dear Surapon,

the very first picture you posted is the best by a very wide margin. The way the dancers are lit, the way the lighting falls off towards the background giving the impression of being completely in their own space and time, the facial expression of the male dancer, the drama of the poses. In many of the later pictures, the high iso issues are much more apparent and the only picture that comes close in impact to your first one is the blue tinted one by tiger82. I bet the experience, including picture analysis was a huge learning step for you :)

Best regards
Andreas

These would be good, except for the lacking DR that's not your fault. :p

I'm kidding. They're amazing. Great work.
