Well, if you say it in a southern US accent, and pretend you're in a western movie, it would sound something like "thets uh mighty fahn Knee-con you've got thayure bhoay, but its naw match fahwar mah Sow-knee!"I’ve never heard anyone pronounce Nikon as Knee Conn, the name was derived from Nippon Kogaku, so it seems logical to me to pronounce it Nick On, while Nigh Conn seems very lah-dee-dah… I’ll take Zed as in Led Zeppelin too.
And what about So Knee? Or is it Sonnee?
At least with Canon there is only one way to say it!
But after a Laphroaig or three I might stretch to a Pain O Sonic…
