R5C: how to transfer video files to PC?

I cannot figure out how to transfer video footage (XF-AVC files, not RAW, not .MP4) directly from the R5C's CFe card to a Windows 10 machine over USB.
The computer sees the CFe card, but not the video files. Canon XF Utility doesn't either.
No problem to transfer via a CFe reader, but surely there's a way to do it when connecting the camera directly to the PC?

Hi Mark - have you had any luck with this.

I have recored XF-AVC files to my CFe card on my R5C but I cannot see them when connecting the camera to my MAC or PC using a USB-C cable

I have ordered a card reader but it may be a while before I receive it.

Have you found any other solution?

No, Joe, I never did find another solution. I think it's not possible without a card reader.
