Nice shots. Do you know how using DPP compares to the commercial Stacking options like Helicon?

Silly side note... did you leave the price tag on your Christmas decorations?
Only one I can speak for is Affinity Photo. I found the straight output for DPP4 to be much better. I could probably get better output from Affinity since I can layer by layer edit after the fact. But that’s far more time and effort than I can put in with a wife, 5 kids, and two day jobs. :)

And yeah. On the Disney ones it’s kind of interesting to look back years later and see how much they were. Casually, it isn’t very noticeable. Macro kind of blows it up. I learned about Chips chipped foot from this.

Curious what the cut is here. A 9.8mp image worked in the first post, but it won’t accept another 9.8mp image. I assume one rounded up and one rounded down. Unfortunately if I downsize my phone cuts it right to less that 1mp.

Left a lot of megapixels at home, but 27 images. By my best understanding of the RP’s auto bracketing, I’m around an inch DOF all sharp with very quick drop off in front and in back. I think DPP4 struggled with this one more due to the lack of well defined edges in Santa’s face.

Holidays aren’t over yet! 60 images. This time I converted CR3’s to TIFF’s after processing in DPP4. Then I merged the TIFF’s in Affinity Photo and did some source image clean up. Finally, I used the clone brush to clean up the little that cloning source images couldn’t clean up.
