Travel to Chicago in April

I am going to Chicago for a week in a couple of weeks time, staying near the Magnificent Mile area. I have at least one day at a conference, but the rest of the time is pretty much free. Any suggestions as to "must photograph"/"must see"/"must do"/"must eat at" places, gratefully received! I am embarrassed to say that at the age of 56 this is my first visit to Downtown Chicago...

Eat: Billy Goat tavern.
Shoot: street on Navy Pier
Do: Sears Tower observation deck. (Yes it has a different name now, don’t care.)
Eat: Gyros in Greektown
Shoot: LaSalle St. at rush hour (financial district)
Do: visit Shedd Aquarium

I’d leave the long glass at home, the town is tall and narrow at the same time.

Thanks for that... I figured I wouldn't need anything too long. Perhaps I can acquire a cheaper UWA over there than I can buy here in the UK!!!
