Want to buy an new Field Monitor

Hi!

Back in the end of 2018 I ordered an 5" very high priced premium field monitor for better visibility at filming. Now it is defective (electronic malfunction, caused by the Canon LP-E6N battery).
I liked the bigger screen, so I want to get an new, but cheaper model.
What specs do I want to have: 1900x1200 pix, bright display - and maybe 7".

Do you own an similar field monitor? Can you recommend a model that is not more than 400€?
Can an Eos 5D Mark IV hold an 7" monitor? I own an stable Gitzo tripod and use 300mm II 2.8 most time for my films
I did an product search, but a lot of the "tests" and "reviews" are in my opinion just fake.

Your help will be welcome.
Thank you
Daniela

Daniela,
I'm not into proper 'monitors', as such, so forgive me if I don't understand the higher level requirements, but have you considered something like an iPad mini, or similar tablet? I use an iPad mini when required (*not often, but sometimes saves my back on low angle issues,) together with a CamRanger.

Any good for your uses? (Retina screen is great, I think).

Cheers.

Tablets aren't bright enough for outside work in the sun.
Some of the Chinese sites have these sorts of monitors for low prices.
A 7" monitor should fit fine on your 5d4.

Otherwise bight the bullet and get an Atomos so you can also use it to record and for focus peaking and waveforms etc.
