The Photographic, Video & Digital Imaging Show
I'll be in Toronto tomorrow for the Henry's show. I'll bring the laptop and do some posts from there.

I'm looking most forward to seeing the Sony NEX cameras. The APS-C sensor in those little bodies is intriguing. I also like seeing a jogwheel on the camera. I'll also be looking at various high end Sony lenses for possible rental items for Lens Rentals Canada.

I'll see if anyone at Canon wants to talk to me.

I might play “the worlds dumbest customer” at the Nikon booth.

Say “hello” if you see me in my cr t-shirt.

  1. The images from the new backlit sensor are amazing, even at IS) 12,800 they are usable.

We all know Sony can become a competitor if they want to, however, it takes a big change of attitude.

I now am wondering if Canon or Nikon will do this for their next FF cameras. A extra stop or two would be very nice.

Thanks for the Link. I hate paying for tickets to events where you’re buting their products.

  3. The high-ISO performance of the new Sony seemed surprisingly good to me, too.

The new SD4000 IS is claimed to have “new 10-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor”.

Is that pretty much the same technology? How much of a difference will it make? Looking forward to some testing…

Could this be the big new feature of the 60D???

    Hmmm…
