Cameras aren't noted for holding their value very well once discontinued, successors appear, and/or lower priced models gain comparable abilities.

Also note, they've already sold out.

Yeah digital cameras. Analog film cameras such as Mamiya RZ67 pro II and Pentax 67 II in excellent condition still get the asking price. Finally got both of those this year after 6 months. The lenses get the asking price also, if you can find them anywhere outside of Japan.
