We figured that the long rumored and yet-to-be-released Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z with internal zoom would be in a few hands around Paris, and it looks like that was a correct assumption.
Thanks to Raed Krishan for sending this image in.
It looks to be similar in size to the RF 24-105mm f/2.8L IS USM Z, and yes, it isn’t white! Video folks tend not to like things that aren’t black on shoots.
The RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z was supposed to be announced by the end of June, and that obviously didn’t happen. It’s likely that it will finally be announced some time in Q4 of this year. Hopefully sooner, than later.
This will be the second “Z” lens and we are expecting one more in the forum of a wide angle along the lines of the RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM.

Oh don't worry, some internet "sleuths" will debunk it.
Pretty convenient for a rumors site writer :D
Clearly says 70-200 on the lens. Camera is a R5 II.
Foot seems detachable.
Nada. They wouldnt release an f/4 Z at this point in time. It wouldn't sell. A pile of sports photographers have been dying for an internal zoom 70-200 2.8. it also has to be consistent with the 24-105 Z.
He looks like he's chimping through the EVF.
I'm good with the current one... But I know probably a dozen people that will be day 1 buyers. Lots will also want it for TCs if it can take them.
