I received some badly translated information about an upcoming camera announcement. I don't know what model this would be.
Specs
– Articulating screen
– Metal body, but smaller than 50D
– Upgraded 15.1mp APS-C Sensor
– 720p Video at 30fps
– Electronic Level
– New battery & battery grip
Sounds like a new Rebel with a little more build quality. Maybe a 60D?

G10 size sensor will require a great resolution optics..
Yep. But the G11’s sensor is far more smaller than APS-C. They raised pixelcount on an APS-C sensor to 18.1MP with the 7D. And as far as I read about it, most people are realy happy with the high-ISO performance of the 7D. However, I would appreciate 10MP on APS-C as sRAW 10MP from a 18 MP sensor is larger than RAW from a 10MP sensor and so far I never came to a point were my 10MP weren’t enough.
