Looks like a movie focused digital SLR camera will be announced at the BAFTA event in England.
Canon promises to have their new cameras on hand for folks to play with.

It looks like an awesome package for a Rebel/xxxD camera, I dont know if I’ll be replacing my 50D with one but I’ll certainly be buying one for the movie functions and possibly as a travel camera.
Since i’m norwegian i’ll translate. They are announcing right now the 550D with video. New compared to 7D is sensor cropping to SD.
