If you received the LC-E17 battery charger in the EOS M50 EF-M 15-45mm IS STM Kit please contact our Customer Support Center, using the information below. Canon will replace the LC-E17 with the correct battery charger, LC-E12, free of charge.

  1. :rolleyes: would like to know how this could happen.

    Knowing both chargers (LC-E12/17) from my 100/200D cameras they look quite similar. But the thicker LP-E17 battery needs a wider charger compartment.
    The LP-E12 would fit only quite loose and shaky with no good electrical contact into the LC-E17. :unsure:
