$50 Savings
For the retailer to qualify for the rebate, they must give away a 16gb SD card.
50D (June 8 – July 5)
$150 instant rebate for any 50D purchased.
Still no word on a real rebate program in Canada.

I am coming to Montreal in October for a conference. Can you recommend a good shop? I spoke to someone who said there was a good one beginning with L, I don’t remember the name.

Aden Camera has posted some adjusted prices to take into account the rebate. Having said that, for example, they have dropped their prices by $100 on a 50D with 18-200mm lens whereas the rebate is said to be $150. Still their prices are very good.
I can’t find any rebate information on http://www.canon.ca site. Is the rebate real or just a baseless gossip/
