One of the big questions we all wanted to know, is what is the pixel count on the EOS-1D X Mark II is going to be? We're told from a very reliable source that we're looking at a newly developed 22mp sensor for the EOS-1D X Mark II. 22mp is in the range we expected and adds 4mp over the EOS-1D X.

The camera is in late stage testing and some production has started.
