Here is another vote for the EOS-3, which I bought New in 2003 & later an Elan 7.  The EOS-3 is an Awesome camera & I will Never get rid of it.  It has had a roll of Provia 100F in it for a year now, & I need to hurry & finish it off & get it processed.  Love the Look on the chromes(Kodachrome, NO).  But my 50D produces the kind of images I like & now my New G15 is really putting out some Great images!

The release date is December.
Funny how Nikon announces a New body & it's in stores within 2 weeks. 
Canon announces the 6D & it's available(supposed to be) within 3 months???

Sometime in October I am going to buy either the G1X or the New G15, when it comes out.  G15's fast lens - 1.8-2.8 plus faster focusing & Digic 5 impress me.  I would have preferred a flip-out LCD screen, but I have a G7(since april 2007) & it has No flip-out LCD. May need to rent the G1X first.

I'd have to agree with Brian - I have had the 24-105 since 2007 & it practically stays on my 50D.  Love that lens!

Been wanting to rent one of these & plan on doing so really soon.  I think with a monopod or tripod it would be Great at outdoor concerts, & other things.

28-135IS(yes I still have that lens & it saved me last year when my 24-105 died
50mm 1.8 - rarely used, but a Great lens - got it in 2003 for $69.00
