Finally the Zeiss Otus 55mm f1.4 arrived. According to the distributor I got the first Canon mount in Scandinavia, so miracles do happen :)

There are limited opportunities where I am at the moment, but here is the first outdoor shot with the 1DX, of my daughter squinting against the low December sun. f2, 1/3200s, ISO100.

From what I have seen so far, the lens is worth (almost) all the hype.
awesome Eldar love the bokeh :)

Well something different a bored dog on the streets of edinburgh :)

Ahh !! This I understand, Wildlife, Edinburgh Version.

Looks like a close Cousin to Eldar's Wolf.
These Siberian Huskys are great dogs. And when they have one blue and one brown eye, like this one, they look really cool.
A friend of mine is breeding them and the last time I was there he had 60(!) dogs. He lives on a Very limited budget, in the middle of nowhere, but he's the happiest man on the planet.
Awesome shot!does he name them all lol?

Very nice Bornshooter! An awesome lens, but of course, it helps to have something nice to shoot ;)
Thank's Eldar it always helps when you have a nice subject to shoot :)

Definitely not as Pretty as Bornshooter's young lady, and I'de imagine not often found on the streets of Edinburgh.

And decidedly poor table Manners, I shot this after she had pulled her head out of the chest cavity of a Tsessebe Antelope.

1Dx 200-400f/4, Shot @ 560mm f/9.0 & 1/80th ISO400
Great shot edward,i find these animals very scary there is something about them, love the shot :)

Please stop posting photos Edward i cant afford to buy the 200-400 and a trip to tanzania lol!awesome work yet again :)

If you have a choice go for the trip, always.

And lovely B&W, Kaz as well, your certainly putting the 85 to good use.

Interesting re the afma, I purchased Reiken when it finally went Mac, I've yet to do any afma on a single Lens I own, I can't see any of them have an issue so I'm reluctant to mess with them, makes me wonder if I've just gotten used to any issues they may have. I'm always interested to see here on CR the amount of people that do run Reiken etc and post that their Lenses almost all require adjustments.
Thank's edward :) a trip would be awesome,i go to budapest next week :) About the afma,i am have little trouble being at closest distance i am having a high success rate but when i go further back is when i am having issues at 1.2 i have afma it from 5.8 metres or so but still maybe i am just shaky i should test it on a static subject and on a tripod before i can be sure, any problem i will send it to canon but i guess its operator fault lol
