Yep mine has to go too. A bit annoyed as everyone else, but still glad that Canon is proactive in this matter

I'd need to see improved noise and dynamic range at low ISO to consider moving to a 7D II. I really don't care about the megapixels. 15 was plenty for me on the 50D (which was consistently sharper with the same lenses than my 7D).same here. For me they can even drop down to 12MP.

HTC is doing it also
I know two different prototypes. But no one has a Digic 6 in it.Couldn't agree with you more. Over here in Belgium, the 5DMkIII is still 3,000€ and the D800 now about 2,300€...
It´s time that Canon reduces the price of the 5D Mark III around 2000 bucks and put a FF camera between the 5D Mark III and 1D X on the market that is worth the money you pay for it. I need a better IQ in the range ISO 50 to ISO 800.
Really beginning to contemplate whether or not to get a D800...
Some have been wondering why APS-C? Well, Sigma does make cameras and they are all of the crop variety (1.5x) so the glass will natively work. The 35 1.4 is the oddity; a quite beautiful oddity.I seem to disagree with you there, Sigma has a lot of FF frames in their line-up. And I doubt their own cameras are their main focus when designing lenses...
If I'm not mistaken, this has to do with technical & feasibility issues. Actual lens diameter for crop can be smaller than for ff bodies, thus making it easier to produce f/1.8. Or am I completely wrong right now?
I was flummoxed when I heard that this thing is APS-C only. Why?! If this is a premium lens aimed at serious shooters, why go crop? This is not a screaming need for the relatively few APS-C guys who spend big money on glass (i.e. birders, sports guys), so I can't make heads or tails of this.
Why not push for (idk) a 24-50 F/2 for the FF guys? That would likely have a larger interest level.

ISO Performance to get close to the 5D3I wanna see that
We’ve heard that two, possibly 3 lenses could be announced on January 8, 2013, but we have not received any confirmations from known sources yet.So what do you think is the 3rd? 200-400 f/4 1.4x?
I hope this is the 14-24
Another source claims to have tested a new “Canon ultra-wide zoom on an EOS-1D Xs”.
