in terms of price and UI its the 7D with firmware 2xx

my guess white top(Duraloop) Duracell made in Japan black top made in China go figure

it will do that using flash, studio mostly-solution take the camera off silent mode, use gate speed for flash and stay with the sync speed or use hss

EOS Bodies - For Video / Re: Problems with Canon mk3 locking up
« on: February 20, 2013, 07:07:37 PM »
Mine have locked up at least 3 times and twice in a single day had to remove and reinstall the battery magazine and I only shoot stills-pixel vertex grip with a pair of canon batteries and rare bird canon lens EF28-80 usm metal mount,I am thinking it may be the lens or silent shutter setting, but I think this will all vanish with April's firmware update from Canon

I have only used the eraser method a few times, now I use lightly damped cotton swabs for the lens contacts and lightly damped cotton cloth for the pins in the camera all light pressure a single drop of WD40,LIGHTLY DAMPED not dripping, then wipe with dry end of swab and cotton cloth, then point body and rear of lens down and blow with a hand blower-have been working for decades

Trust your eyes,if you can do a comparison shoot with both then make a decision,I like and continue to use my 16-35 L 1-the newer version 2 is sharper from 16- to about 20 mm
